We can’t see the bottom of a plant. Roots hold the plant and suck up water. The two types of roots are called the taproot and the fibrous root. They are alike because they do the same job.
They are different because when I pull a dandelion it is hard to pull out but when I pull a fibrous root it is easy to pull out.
If I pull up a plant I would know that it was a fibrous root if its root spreads out and I would know that it is a taproot because it has one big root in the middle.
