Lovely Leaves

The leaf makes the food. The chlorophyll makes the plant green. The chlorophyll takes the energy from the sun and mixes it up with the air and the water to make its food. The petiole holds the leaf towards the sun. The veins carry the food and water to other parts of the leaf. The roots take in water. The color of a dying plant would be the color yellow.
