Peloponnesian War

The two Greek city-states that fought each other are called Sparta and Athens. They fought because they always had to pay the Athenians so that is when they decided to fight. It was a long war. The Spartans won the war. They did that by waiting for the Athenians to starve and go on land to find some food and then the Spartans won. When they went back home they saw the people were weak. The effect in Greece was the Golden age was over. March 31, 2004
