Olympics

The first Olympics were in Ancient Greece a long time ago. The games were the flying disk, the javelin and there were running and boxing. The Ancient Greeks had the Olympics because they wanted to honor their god Zeus. They have the Olympics every 4 years. The Ancient Greeks had their games in Ancient Greece. Now we have it all around the world. The winners in Ancient Greece get a wreath made out of olive branches. And the winners today get medals. The people who could play in Ancient Greece were the men. But now the women and the men can play the Olympics. The Ancient Greeks have it because they wanted to honor their god Zeus. We do it because we just want to do it. The games that the Ancient Greeks have are the flying disk, the boxing, running and javelin. Now we added more games to the Ancient Greeks games.
