Samuel Adams, Patrick Henry, and Thomas Paine
Samuel was good at writing and thinking, Patrick was good at talking, and Thomas was good at writing. These three people were called firebrands. Thomas wrote a paper called COMMON SENSE. Samuel was fat and he was a New England person. Some people thought he was lazy. But when he fought for freedom he wasn't lazy. Tom Paine became an apprentice to Benjamin Franklin. Patrick said a speech about what he thought that the stamp tax is a threat to liberty. Thomas Jefferson listened to that speech and was amazed . Samuel Adam's Cousin was named John. John made a book called The Patriotic American Farmer.
