Charlemagne was resting when the Pope came in and told the king that people thought that the Pope was a terrible criminal. So the king told everyone that the Pope was not a terrible criminal. The Pope told the king to meet him at the church. When the king arrived and did his prayers, the Pope put a crown on the king and made him Emperor. January 17, 2005.
